This has to be neatest web app in recent memory. This tool introduces, I think, a new revolutionary way for people to receive and create content. It seriously ups the ante on what it means to “personalize” content. Check out a few examples on their site and “experience” what it is like to spend a day in Hanoi.

Objectified is a new documentary by Gary Hustwit on Industrial Design. The trailer looks promising (starts out like a Mac ad because we hear Jonathan Ive’s voice right away) and the film’s logo is just brilliant. I hope this film captures the creative and fun spirit of this field so all the non-designers of the world can watch it and reduce the number of people asking me… “What is Industrial Design?”

I must be high on WordPress or just deranged from the fatigue. Either way, I am glad I installed OpenHook. I could’ve used it maybe 10 hours EARLIER to save some immense pain I went through but seeing how most of my site still has nothing on it, I think I discovered it in good time.
Rick, if you read this, I would be grateful if you could add another save button at the top of that massive list. Great work man.

Last night’s… er… this early morning’s rant has given way to the deep appreciation of the wonderful community for the Thesis Theme. Although I have not communicated with Rick, aka kingdomgeek, as of yet, his dedication and dead-on solutions have already helped me immensely. The more I tweak this theme, the more I think it was money well-spent. I will soon give Thesis OpenHook a try.

3 installs of WordPress 2.7, 2 installs of the Thesis Theme and 24 hours later… at the ridiculous time of 4:45am, I finally have the skeleton of a website that I wanted. WordPress has come a long way and the Thesis Theme REALLY IS extremely flexible, but my first post shall be a rant. It just shouldn’t take so much hunting around and trial and error to set up 4 blank static pages and 1 blog page!
That aside, I see the immense potential of these two tools and can’t wait to waste even more hours configuring this #*&%$…!!!
